As of August 24, 2009 the news format has changed.  Most of you familiar with our website are used to reading articles I would post.  Usually those articles coincided with our printed newsletters.  However, because of our large following on Facebook now, that is now our primary news outlet in addition to our printed news.  If you are not on Facebook, it is easy to join and there are many privacy settings if you don’t want to get involved on a social network level.  You can “hide” yourself and just visit our Facebook page as you desire.  

There is another alternative.  Below you will notice the “fan” page for the children’s home. This will give you the latest on what we are doing at SHIP without having to be a member of Facebook.  However, Facebook does not allow such news feeds for regular members.  To see our personal news you’ll need to join and become “friends” with us.  Click the image of our family on the lower right to begin. 

Also, I’ve noticed that Firefox browsers have trouble with the scripts.  Please use Safari or Internet Explorer to see the news that is posted right below this.
